Free hosting is currently: OPEN

Yes that’s right! I’m offering FREE hosting here at cathartique.net.
But just like anything free, there is a catch! Nothing major, just a few rules and requirements that are pretty standard. =]

RULES!

• You MUST update your site at least at least once every two weeks. If something comes up that prevents you from doing so – let me know! I understand that everyone has a life, and family and commitments. =]
• You must have a decent knowledge of HTML and at least one imaging program such as Paint Shop Pro and/or Photoshop etc.
• If you’re going to use wordpress, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t use the default themes. Use your imagination!
• FTP knowledge is always good. PixelFX.org has some great tutorials if you’re clueless.
• No porn, hate, and nothing illegal. No mp3’s or any music files like that.
• Don’t upload anything that isn’t going to be used for your site. Eg: Banners/Backgrounds etc for sites like Neopets. That’s what photobucket.com is for! =]
• It’d be an extra bonus if you had MSN Messenger – I like to be able to chat with my hostees. You’re using the space I pay for – you may as well make an attempt to be friendly. =P
• You must be able to show me an example of your capabilities – this can be in page/site form, or a screen cap if you currently have no site up.
• You must have an index page up within a week of being accepted.
• A link to me on your main page is also compulsary. Hellooooo, free space?

• 25mb of space. If you really need more, and have a justifiable reason for this, then ask me and I’ll be happy to give you more. =]
• Plenty of bandwidth.

• Personal Sites/Blogs
• Fanlistings/Namelistings/Numberlistings/Whatever else you crazy kids are listing these days! Some hatelistings are okay, but nothing nasty!
• Cliques (Do these even still exsist?!)
• Reviews
• Awards
• Some graphics sites – they have to be exceptionally good though!
• There are a few I won’t host – doll makers, portfolios, fan sites, etc.
• Anything cool and original will be considered! Try me!
