So, uni has finished for the year. I’ve only got exams to do now. I’m also desperately looking for a job. I’m thinking about doing uni part time next year while working.

Okay, I’m going to wrap it up now. I really have nothing of interest to say, and want to keep working on the theme and bringing it up to scratch.

Turns out it isn’t so. I’ve made a relatively spiffy one for a fansite I’ve been working on the last few days and I’m so proud of it. It still has a few kinks that need to be ironed out (such as a bit of overhang here and there, and some mysterious padding going on).

This means, that I will only be using this theme for a few more days hopefully, and will soon have one of my own!

In other news, I went on a field trip today for geology. It sucked. Big time. Apparently I did it all wrong so I’m probably not going to get marked very well. I really really realy suck at mapping. They kept going on about the plunge of the anticline and all this and I was like..  =\

I really enjoy every other aspect of geology expect mapping.. which kinda sucks seeing as in stage two and three I have to take a paper each each dedicared entirely to mapping. Next year I go on a one week feild trip to map an area, and the next year I’ll be going on a 2-3 week mapping trip. Hopefully it will just -click- one day. Preferrably before Tuesday, when I have a mapping test worth 18.5% of my grade.

My heart is breaking.

Studying last minute for a test that is going to cover geologic mapping, erosion, and sedimentary processes kind of SUCKS!

Even if it weren’t last minute study it would STILL suck. Gah. Geology seems to have its downsides. I have no enthusiam for this subject at the moment.

Oh, and I have a feild trip this weekend for a mapping exercise. And a test next week … on mapping skills. I hate maps. I hate maps. I HATE MAPS!!!1!11!1!!!!!1!one!!1!1!1!!

In more uni related news, classes start back tomorrow after a two week break, and I’m finding it really hard to be excited about it. I’m in a real slump right now and just have no motivation whatsoever. But that always happens around this time of the year. Meh!

Wow, I just realised how many features this thing actually has! Let’s see if I can continually find something interesting to blog about so I may make good use of it.

Bah.. well nothing comes to mind right now. I’m hungry and I want subway. >:(

So I’m twenty-one now. I don’t feel all that different. All the great things I hoped to achieve have kind of flown out the window.

I really don’t know what to do with myself anymore.

In so many ways I’m not ready to be an adult, but in so many other ways I really am.

It definitely feels like a time of change for me. I’m taking advantage of this.

I want this massive turning point in my life to represent something positive. I want to be a happier, healthier person.

That will be my present to myself. Achieving this won’t be easy. I am so stuck in my bad habits and ways that it’s going to be difficult to change.

I can do it.

In other news.. well not really news.. I’ve been thinking a lot lately. It’s as if all this stuff I’ve supressed from my childhood is coming back with a vengence. Especially my parents divorce. I’ve always maintained I was too young to remember it or be affected by it but I realise that it has actually affected every little detail in my life to this day. How depressing.

I’m not letting this mess me up. If anything it’s helping me to work through all my issues. Especially my anxiety and panic attacks. Don’t get me wrong – I’m no this totally broken person. I just find it hard to function and interact with the world the way everyone else seems to be able to. I’ll get there.

She’s laying on my bed with my at the moment. The sky is blue, there’s a nice breeze and she looks so peaceful.

I guess I just wanted to document this moment because I don’t know how many more of these I’ll get.

So an update: Summer School has finished, and I’m just waiting on the exam mark (hopefully at least a B). I have a week off and then semester one begins! I am really excited about it, but also really ugh about my timetable.

Monday: 10am – 5pm
Tuesday: 9am – 5pm
Wedsnesday: 9am – 6pm
Thursday: 9am – 6pm
Friday: 2pm – 3pm

I have TWO nine hour days?!! That is insane, and painful! The worst part (or best?!) is that I’ll only have 2-3 classes on these days.. which means I have anywhere up to 7 hours to kill. I can’t go home because I live about an hour away from uni (which means I’ll be getting home around 8pm some nights) so I’m going to have to find a comfy hidey hole somewhere.

I’m hoping to be studious during these breaks and get everything done, but more than likely I’ll find a free computer and get on facebook, or find friends to hang with or something like that.

Thank goodness it’s only a semester of this – but that’s still 12 long torturous weeks.

Anyhow, it’s too ho to be sitting here with my laptop on my lap, so I’m gonna call it a night and read for awhile.
